# Cockboxing

Cockboxing features 2 competing roosters ("cocks") hitting each other with "gloves" (hit sensors attached to their legs). They will **NOT** be armed with daggers nor spurs unlike traditional cockfighting. Each cock will have a digital HP bar superimposed on the screen that tracks how many hits it has taken as well as the strength of the hits.

Gloves can measure hit strength and volume. Without the traditional cockfighting blades, matches are non-lethal.</p></figcaption></figure>

The match ends when one cock loses all their HP, while the other is declared the victor.\
\
Safety is an important component of non-lethal cockfighting and each cock will only fight once before being retired to a rest farm where they recuperate for a minimum of 4 days. There will be on-site vets employed to check the condition of the cocks after each bout.
